This website is another phase in the development of our school. I hope you will find it interesting and informative, both for existing parents and pupils and for prospective parents and pupils.

As a school we encourage our children to ‘Aim High’ thereby achieving their maximum potential, whilst promoting high standards of behaviour, respect, moral values and self-esteem. We believe we achieve this by developing relationships between home and school, working together at all times to promote the aims of our school.

I have worked here at Kirkby Thore School for eight years, the last four as Headteacher and have had the pleasure of watching the school develop and grow during that time. The children are at the heart of our school and are a pleasure to work with. We have the benefit of a supportive community of staff, parents and governors who all work hard to provide the very best for the children at school.

Through our website we want to give you information about the life and work of our school and as such we have created a great new link between our school and our parents. We will continue to use conventional methods of communication with parents but see this website as an invaluable additional mailbox into your homes.
